RIP

Our little dog Otis got hit by a car today. He was killed instantly. Otis was our mini min wiener dog and we had him just about a year. Somehow he got out in the road and a car hit him in the head. The driver did stop but nothing could be done. The one thing I'm thankful for is that he died instantly and did not have to suffer. He was a good little dog and was just about 16 months old, still a puppy. We buried him in the front yard, he was wrapped in a baby blanket.

All of us are of course a mess and upset and wondering how it happened and what not but things happen that we cannot control. We will miss him. The tears and pain will last a long time for this one.

Rest in Peace my little Otis McWiggleturd.

New Job

I have been interviewing for jobs a lot lately and had ran across one that I was hoping to get.  It was by far the coolest one I had come across and I found out earlier today I got the job and start Monday so WOOT!  It is working here http://www.vintagehardware.com/  so it should be interesting to say the least.  It is a bit of a commute, about 30 miles each way, but thankfully it is on a bus route so I should be ok.  Anyway it will be nice to get back into the work force again for sure.  Things have been so mixed up the past two months with family issues and personal issues that I am ready for a change for sure.

Anyway, just wanted to share the news.

EEEEK!!

Seattle Pride Weekend

I finally got time to sit down and tell about my weekend in Seattle with Dave for Pride weekend. It was fun, despite the mini heat wave we were forced to endure.

So Friday evening Dave came to pick me up and of course we proceeded to be complete goobers once in the truck. We also decided to take the ferry to Seattle so we could go to a Burgermaster drive in there, which turned out to be in the damn ghetto but was still grub food for sure. There was also a couple in a little fancy sports car next to us that required mocking, I mean serious mocking, it was funny, so we not only had good food, but entertainment as well! So we set off from there back to Enumclaw, hit the store for munchies then crashed at the apartment. Now I feel kinda bad cause, unlike Dave, when I am tired and I lay down, I can go to sleep pretty easy so he ended up awake and alone for a little while each night. I believe we had Star Wars Ep IV as the movie of choice for the night, maybe even the 2nd, as Dave always puts one on before bed. Thankfully I didn't have any creepy dreams involving wookies or droids.

Ok so we got up Saturday, got all perty, and then went out and had lunch then he took me to get Cold Stone! *Dances* I had not had any in ages since there isn't one where I live now. So, some grub and a few scoops of ice cream later, we were in the theater watching Wanted. Pretty cool movie and damn if James McAvoy isn't pretty hot. He was Mr. Tumnus in the Chronicles of Narnia the Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe. Much cuter as a human though thank you. I must say though that the man who had my attention was Thomas Kretschmann, a german actor that I adore. He plays Cross in the movie and has been in a lot of other stuff that I won't list off. I say go see Wanted though, it is a good movie filled with good action and surprising humor. Total thumbs up! Anyway, after the movie we went back to the apartment then headed to Dave's cousin Bart's place in Tacoma for a night of playing Warcraft, not to mention dinner. I got to meet Bart's girlfriend, who is a real sweetheart. So we went out to Red Robin for dinner and had a good time then Dave and Bart decided to have a gigglefit moment at the restaurant cause Bart was bein a tard LOL Hard to explain but it was quite entertaining. Bart had to fiddle a lot with his computers to get them situated so I would have one to play WoW on, as I don't have a laptop, but we eventually played for a while then Dave and I had to head back so we could get some sleep before the big day.

Ok, I can't describe what Bart was doing at Red Robin so I snitched a snippet from Dave's LJ to post here.....
This time it was over the lame way that he started flapping his arms while we were at the table. I don’t even remember why he started flapping them, not that that matters. It was just the way - with a downward swoop, his body thrusting upwards and his arms pausing for an inordinate amount of time in the down position, causing me to picture how a bird flying like this would inadvertently dive down every time he paused like with his wings down. I suspect this is how the do-do bird became extinct.

Sunday we got up early, like 7:00, should be a law...anyway. We got all perty again then headed out to Seattle so we could be early enough to get a good parking spot. All went well too cause traffic wasn't bad at all and we found a nice little parking lot right at 4th and Battery. There was also a big tree right there that we ended up sitting by for the parade so we didn't have to hike five miles to the truck at any time for anything. The parade itself was fun and I must say there were more drag queens than usual, which I enjoyed. A really nice lesbian couple was sitting by us and shared the sheet they were sitting on with us so we didn't get all dirty, thought was really good of them so here is there SHOUT OUT! I didn't take as many pictures this year but I did take some little videos on my digital, though there is no sound on them. I will post a link at the end of the post where you can check it all out. So after the parade, we walked down to the Seattle Center to check out the festival set up. It was NUTS though and the heat was getting to us both a bit, it was prob at least 90 out. Oh and I almost forgot, I had been texting with my friend Joel in hopes of maybe seeing him at the parade, which I had no luck, though as Dave and I were walking to the Seattle Center, there was Joel standing on the sidewalk. I didn't get to chat long, but at least we got to say hi and give big hugs. Him and I have lost touch a bit and I want to change that in the future. Ok so after a little cruise around the center, we headed back to the truck and off we went.

We stopped at Southcenter mall to see if Dave's friend Erik was working (he works in the Nordstroms cafe). Sure enough he was so I got to meet him and I must say, he's adorable. He also served us for lunch. I had this Turkey Panini sammich that was really really good and a little green salad with it that had a cherry balsamic vinegarette that was just omg yummy. So after lunch and many hugs later, we were once again on our way to the truck. We headed back to the apartment once more and chilled for a little while before heading off to the Drive In theater to see WallE and Prince Caspian. When we got there though, we noticed lightning off in the distance and before too long it was really close to us then it was on us so we had a little rain and lightning to watch WallE to for a while. We also met a nice couple that was parked next to us and talked with them for a while. Now the movie screens there weren't the best so we both wanna see the movie in a theater but even so, I must say I think WallE has to be the cutest movie ever made, seriously, it went right to the top 5 or so of my all time fav list. I highly recommend it to everyone, it's just so good I cannot explain. Well after WallE was over, we decided to call it a night as neither one of us could sit through another movie comfortably so we went on back to Dave's place.

We got up Monday morning, got perty yet again, then headed out in order to get me home. We stopped at this little cafe Dave used to eat as when he was a kid and had some grub. It took about 45 minutes to get our food, but it was good and I ate everything on my plate. On the drive back we both got quiet and were trying to stay awake since we were both pretty tired from the busy weekend. Dave pulled over to get something to drink and we had a stretch then back out we went, but more awake this time. Started to blast the radio and sing along so that helped. Not to mention we were making fun of Bart and his arm floppage on and off the entire way LOL Alas we finally made it to my place and the weekend came to a close. It was fun though so being tired was well worth it.

Ok well there it is, my weekend in an odd shaped nutshell.  Here are the pics and vids from the parade.

Me

DAMMIT DAVE!!

See what you made me do!?

*SIGH*  Dave posted this on his LJ and dammit, now I feel the need to answer LOL

1. Would you do meth if it was legalized?

Hell no, the shit is nasty.  I have no urge to get myself addicted to something that will not only destroy my body, but my mind.  Its pointless, weak and gross.  I like being able to think straight and not wonder what I have to do to get my next fix.  I do think it, and all other drugs, should be legal though.  If someone wants to drug themselves up then let them.  Only time it should be illegal is when it involves children, then I say lock the bastards up for giving them access to it.

2. Abortion: for or against?
Very much for, though within reason.  I have no problem with it at all if a woman does not use it for birth control.  There are so many situations where it is called for that I don't understand being against it, especially with all the population issues we have now days.  A lot of people say put babies up for adoption but that does not solve anything imo, it just makes another issue as it is already difficult to get babies and kids adopted now days and many end up in our foster care system.  Aside from a few that are wonderful and mean well, most the foster parents out there have no business having a child, let alone many, its disgusting really.   I figure if you can just avoid adding to that problem then do so.  Now I am not saying have an abortion just because, but if you have no suitable alternative then so be it, its your right as a woman to have it done.  I also believe that the father should be involved but ultimately it is the woman's decision and that the father should respect it.

3. There’s a 2 month old child and a 65 year old man who has the cure for cancer but hasn’t had a chance to announce it yet; one of them has to die… which one?
Well the question is fucking retarded to start with but going on what's said, I will say let the 65 year old die as the 2 month old has yet to even have a real chance at life.

4. Would our country fall with a woman president?
Oh for fuck sake no.  Why would you think that after we got stuck with Bush for 8 long ass years?! I mean WTF!  If he hasn't managed to completely destroy us then no one can, unless you put another republican in office cause then it might be the damn domino effect.  Anyway, being a woman may be a great thing for our country right now, too bad it won't happen, but it would be a fresh perspective on a lot of issues, including abortion.

5. Do you believe in the death penalty?
You are damn right I do.  I know a lot of people, including a lot of friends of mine, are not but I have always believed in it but thought it should be stricter.  I say if you are convicted then sentenced to death you should get 72 hours so your family can say goodbye then you are put to death.  As it is, they stay on death row forfuckinever and cost us way too much money to keep alive, its ridiculous.  I also feel that more people should be given the death penalty, not just murderers.  I am talking about violent rapists, like someone who rapes an 8 year old and almost kills her/him, etc.  To me, thats worse than killing someone because a child is being violated and being stripped of an innocence no one should ever have to lose.  I say them and child abusers too.  People who beat, starve, torture or in any other way harm a child should just be disposed of I think.  To me they are the worst kind of coward and a worthless human being.  Yeah I may sound like a cold blooded bitch but it is how I feel.  Hell I'd say do public executions again if it was possible, bet that would deter a lot of the little fuckers running around these days.

6. Do you wish marijuana would be legalized already?
It never should have been otherwise, I mean its a plant for fuck sake, it grows in the wild!  It is no different than any other plant you grow yet you are allowed to go in your back yard, pull up some weeds or grass, wrap it up and toke away, that's such bullshit.  I would like to have met the fuck who made things like this illegal cause them I'd have to take my shoe off and beat them with it and dammit, I have a big shoe!

7. Are you for or against premarital sex?
Totally for, in fact I'm against waiting, I think its fucking stupid and religious nuts need to get over it.  No matter how much people want to believe differently, sex is not bad and no matter how hard you try to think so, it matters very much in a relationship, regardless of how much love there is.  If a couple cannot click sexually then it will not ever truly work between them because physical closeness is just as important as emotional.  People who wait to get married then have sex are stupid for they are gambling on their relationship imo and I say test the waters before so you know for sure.  Some times that physical connection, or lack there of,  can make a huge difference in either direction of a relationship.

8. Do you think same sex marriage should be legalized?
Absolutely.  Marriage is a bond between two people, does not matter who.  The church tried to take it over but marriage has been around a lot longer than the damn church so they have no say in it, period.  It is a human right, end of story.

9. Do you think its wrong that so many Hispanics are moving to the USA?

I think it is wrong that there are too many of any ethnic group moving here.  There need to be limits.  I realize that this country was founded on immigrants but you got to have rules on how many because if we keep going at the rate we are we will be so over populated who knows what will happen.  I also believe you shouldn't even be allowed to consider immigrating unless you are fluent in English.

10. A 12 year old girl has a baby… should she keep it?
That would depend on the situation.  If her family would help her raise it and she is strong enough to do so then I say yes, let her, but only if shes is capable of keeping herself together.  If she cannot, then no.

11. Should the alcohol age be lowered to 18?
Yes it should.  There are so many other responsibilities put on kids at 18 that it is hypocritical as all hell to tell someone they can fight and die for their country, own a home, buy cigarettes yet they cannot buy a beer.  That is just ridiculous.  Surely if you allow someone to shoot a gun they can have a damn drink.  People think it would cause more teens to drink...umm hellfuckinlo they already do, legal or not and a lot do it because they aren't supposed to.  There would not be any more issues than there are now, frankly I bet there would be a lot less.

12. Assisted suicide is illegal… do you agree?
Hell no.  Suicide is a choice of an individual and a human right.  People should be allowed to decide for themselves if they wanna die or not.  Just because others may not want them to die, does not mean that person should not have the choice.  I know that if I had reached a point where I had no quality of life then I would want to go.  There is a big difference in LIVING and SURVIVING and no one should have to just survive, it is cruel.  We all deserve to live and when that is no longer truly possible, then we should be able to die on our own terms.

13. Do you believe in spanking your children?
Yes I do and, though I don't have any, I have nieces and you best believe I have tanned both their butts when its called for.  Disciplining your child is not wrong nor is it abuse.  I think it is abuse when people don't discipline at all because they aren't helping their child learn any respect and then people wonder why their kids grow up to be so stupid, selfish and lazy.  Coddling a child is not doing them any favors and will not teach them how to survive in the world for they will always just expect the same treatment and the world does not work that way.  If you teach your child discipline and respect then that stays with them and they learn to earn and appreciate things in their life and I guarantee they will be a better person in the long run instead of a damn brat like most people these days.  Oh and making your kid feel guilty about things by talking down to them and such is not discipline, it's fucking mean and will do worse things to your kid than tanning their butt ever would.  Also, do not talk AT or TO your child, talk WITH them, it makes all the difference.

14. Would you burn an American flag for a million dollars?
Would depend on why someone would want me to do it and which particular flag they would want me to burn (I mean where they get it from, like just a random flag they bought or if it was from a certain location), but in the right situation, I would.  Hell with that million I could get property and build homes for my parents and I and we would be set for life.

15. A mother is declared innocent after murdering her 5 children in a temporary insanity case… opinion?
I say fry the bitch.  Anyone who is capable of doing such a thing is a waste, insane or not.  I don't think it is insanity though, just stupidity.  People always think they can get away with things by using the insanity plea and that is just a load of crap.  If you commit a crime of that magnitude then it is your own fault, regardless of the reasons behind it.

16. Are you afraid others will judge you from reading some of your answers?

They may or may not, I do not know.  I also do not care as we all are entitled to our opinions and beliefs.  If someone cannot respect that mine may be different than their own that is not my problem, but theirs.  I have plenty of things that I do not see eye to eye on with many people but it does not mean I don't like or respect that person, we just have different views on things which is fine.  No two people are going to feel or think the same on every issue.  I rather like having conversations on some topics with a friend who has a different view than my own, it keeps me thinking and reminds me to not close my mind.

FUCKIN IDIOTS!

Ok seriousy, WHAT THE FUCK is wrong with people! I just read this retarded fuckin article and wanted to beat someone so bad (primarily the gals/twats talked about in it).

http://www.komotv.com/news/17943044.html

Ok first off, since when is it harassment to take a picture of someone and second, if you dress revealing, especially knowing you will get attention, then you better expect to get all kinds of attention. I swear I'd like to bitchslap the twats who are screamin harassment. FUCK YOU STUPID BITCHES! Seriously, get a fuckin clue. If you don't want the attention then don't fuckin dress like you do, work or not. Otherwise, shut the fuck up and deal with it. You weren't even harassed. So some guys took a pic of you, so what. Instead of whining about work policy, did you ever stop to think that maybe you could just ask them not to take it? No, I'm sure your stupid little brain couldn't comprehend the idea, I mean after all, you are serving coffee in skimpy clothes, fuckin tarts. You probably didn't even care about gettin your damn pic taken, but just didn't want to get in trouble with your work.

Yes I'm bein mean and pissy right now but that shit seriously pisses me off. It would be different if people were touching them or talkin to them in a certain manner over time, but jesus fuck, a picture?!? If you were in your swimsuit at the beach, would you call harassment on a guy who takes a pic of you in your swimsuit? If you chose to wear some revealing ass bikini then you get to deal with being oogled, same applies to your lame ass job, so get over your shit and shut the fuck up. There are tons of people out there dealing with REAL harassment and other issues that people won't listen to because focus ends up on your retarded shit like yours.

There, I'm done and guess what? I'd still like to drown them both in a pool of the shitty coffee I am sure they serve in their ugly skimpy outfits they wear that get them "harassed".
